Origin Story

Samantha’s activism began at 15 years old, when she delivered her first speech on abortion access to members of Congress. She’s been fighting for women’s rights and LGBTQ+ liberation ever since.


Samantha has spoken to thousands of people across the country on the need for inclusive, empowering sex ed that affirms LGBTQ youth and dismantles rape culture.
Samantha and then-Congressman Tim Walz in May 2018. Samantha worked for Tim for four years before he was elected Governor of Minnesota.
